yep when you have tried different cpu's and gpu's you'll understand about bottlenecks without anyone teaching you tbh, although threads like this can be a good guide to other members. I had to learn it the hard way and did some upgrades that didn't give me the performance boost that I thought it would. If i would've gone with a different setup I would've been much happier

I always thought the GPU's would use all of a CPU regardless of how threaded the game was.

glad to be of help. I learned this the hard way though. I remember upgrading from a 955BE to 1090T expecting huge increase in my cpu bottlenecked system during that time. turns out more cores doesn't help. I only use my pc on gaming so my upgrade from a 955BE to 1090T was pretty much useless for gaming. the additional 300mhz OC did help but not worth the money I invested.
