G.Skill Ripjaw X 1156 compatibility

I know the Ripjaw X series is sold on the basis of P67/Z68 compatibility, but I'd assume they'll work on more than just those boards. I'm currently running the original Ripjaws on my P55-GD80 and I wouldn't mind a 2x4gb upgrade, especially for how cheap they're going for. My only concern is that G.Skill doesn't list anything other than P67/Z68 motherboard compatibility on their site.
