I've had a Wii for years, with Dolphin, it's like playing it all over again for the first time.

I know Dolphin is nothing new, but it is to me. I recently found out about it by accident, and I love it. I don't play it a whole lot, but I do with my daughter sometimes. Now she can enjoy the gameplay and I can enjoy the beautiful 1080p graphics. It really is amazing how good this makes Wii games look.

Through a little online help, I also connected the actual wiimotes to my computer with a bluetooth adapter, and have a wireless sensor bar powered with a stripped USB cable.

They were downsized some, but you can definitely see the difference(or what the Wii COULD have been).

Yeah, pictures don't really do it justice but the difference really is night and day. The games that I have tried on Dolphin really do look decent.

Doesn't that sensor bar have a bad reputation for a battery spring (I don't know what they're called) breaking or something?

I have no idea. but I'll never be using batteries, so it doesn't matter.

Fellow Dolphin fans. I HIGHLY recommend build r7719 if you have a fast rig. It plays most games at or near full speed and AFAIK its the only build to emulate Skyward Sword near perfection. I can play nearly my entire GCN/Wii collection with little to no issues and very little tweaking required. Mario Galaxy 1/2 for instance, also play near perfectly with DSP LLE Recompiler and DSP on Thread.

Is that an older version? Im using the most up to date from their site. How is that one different from what I have already?

And about a cheap BT adapter, if you live near any electronics shop, they can be had for $10-20. The one I got was an iogear for $14.99. Connected instantly, without a hiccup. You open dolphin, press 1+2 on the wiimote and pair within the dolphin wiimote settings.
