I posted this in one of the Case forum threads, but afterwards thought it deserved a dedicated post for any who may be interested.
If you missed the October free shipping promo for the side mesh panel, do yourself a favor and call Corsair before you order & explain your heat issues to them. I thought it was somewhat of a longshot, but did just that today and the results were beyond my expectations.
One note worth mentioning is that I dealt with them in a cooperative fashion as a customer who liked the case but had heat issues with my installed components. I simply requested free shipping for the side panel, and received a totally free order instead...the summary from my order earlier today is below.
