That's over 100% improvement with GPU Hardware PhysX Acceleration thumb.gif

Now go play some PhysX games and have funs.

I will leave you to enjoy the new setup now.

Hi there!!!!, Im so glad to hear someone could achieve what i was expecting for so long. Now on my actual rig Im adding an EVGA 560Ti FBP for the PhysX, I already have an ASUS CHIVE for the test, and a 1200w psu from thermlatake 80 plus bronze with 2 x 12v rails with 60a each, and a xfire MSI r6870 Hawk TF III, since I will be playing some heavy PhysX title's (Alice, Crysis 2, Mafia II, Batman Arkham City) I just wanted to give it a try. Ive been an old user of NVIDIA, but I went with Ati since the 5770 release from there got a lot of fun playing, but I missed my old Nvidia Cards for Physx, now my family is growing with this new adquisition. I already downloaded the patches and got some information about all this fact amd+nvidia together. Im waiting the GTX arrive, once I install it Ill be posting the results. I have the option of playing with Hydralogix but the drivers are to young for the challenge, they need to madurate. TY for all any recomendation is very wellcome. Christian from Argentina.thumb.gif

There shouldn't be any problem setting it up. Everything is in this thread. It should be easy as it can be.

Any more info on what physx files to delete?
i'm running an 8800gt, with physx, newest drivers, and i get physx support in all other games i've used, but this one runs like i don't have the 8800gt. i have a checkmark in gpu-z, nvidia control panel works, and has them set to cuda only. i get physx fine in batman AA, but this one i am getting no frame rate improvement at all. 60fps with out physx, and 10 with it on. Running Hybrid, with a 4890. thanks in advance.

Deleting the "Physxdevice.dll" worked for me in Alice: Madness Returns, as well as the Fluidmark benchmark. I'm not sure about either of the Batman games, as I do not own them, but that's what I'd start with.

I've heard that removing this file forces the PhysX to be calculated through however the PhysX drivers are setup (and in this case hacked to use the secondary nvidia card). Whereas, with that particular file, it tries to access PhysX on its own and will bypass the hack, causing you to not be able to use your hybrid setup. This may or may not be true, and I may be describing it wrong, but that's my understanding of it.
