As for the receiver, I don't think well ever have a 7.1 system, let alone the 7.2 system. I don't want to go over 350 for the receiver, so is there another you would recomend?
Don't waste money on 7 channels if you're not going to use them.
Don't skimp on the amplification; it is the most important component.
If you can't get the big KF-28s, then you may as well drop down to bookshelf speakers, so you can integrate proper subs instead. Don't make the mistake of going in-between. Either get BIG floor standing units with large woofers, or get bookshelves and pair them with subs.
