Well apple doesnt develope the camera anyways, they i think just pay more to have it used on their device, I think its sony or samsung that makes the apple camera.

Most Android cameras will suffice, but just as many people will bring a point and shoot camera along with them whereas you don't have to do that with an iPhone 4/4S.

Surely you've bought into the hype a little too much

take a look at this.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/241955-2/smartphone_camera_battle_iphone_4s_vs_the_android_elite.html

Of course the iPhone 4s would rank better when compared to 80% of Android phones because there are so many low end Android phones. But when it comes to the high end, it's pretty obvious that there's barely a difference.

Good read.

Ofc I have FLAC. What audiophile wouldn't want one of the best formats for their music? 5-7MBs screams MP3.
My songs are around 27MB a song.
lol@beats comment.
It's just software. In fact, you can download the software on Android Revolution HD ROM. The beats earphones aren't that good, but I'd take them over 40 dollar earphones and under.
And I can think of one more reason why only one hand would be on the phone, but that's not all that appropriate for OCN.

I think I'll assume most people don't use FLAC and instead use mp3, since most people aren't uhm 'audiophiles' as you like to call them. I said Beats is software and the earphones, which is true since it gives you software and it comes with the headphones.

As for software -- I know you can personalize android however you want, there are some things I really wish iOS5 would do and it doesn't -- Most of this can be fixed by jailbreaking the iPhone and installing 3rd party apps. There are some things that you can do BETTER than what android does, even when rooted. I like to tinker, I'm sure iPhone will get old to me and then a year or so later, I'll just sell my new iPhone and switch to whichever platform I like better. That's another good advantage an iPhone has over an Android -- the ability to resale it.

That's a very biased statistic since you're saying '80%+ of android devices' and not comparing them to Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S2, HTC Rezound, Droid Razr, Droid Bionic and such that are on par with the iPhone 4S.

You're really coming off as an iphone fanboy.

How am I an iPhone fanboy for stating that it has build quality going for it? Have you ever held one? It feels so premium - feels like it was crafted with an insane amount of attention to detail. So does the Nexus though I must say - well, at least more so than any HTC device on the market *blergh*.

It's a top tier phone for sure. You can't deny it's one of the best smartphones on the market. I can agree iOS5 can leave some things to be desired but there is nothing an Android device can do that an iPhone can't.

Is it that hard to take care of your gadgets and/or buy them a case? The whole "it's fragile" thing is dumb. I replacement back for the iPhone is like $30 anyway and if you take care of it it's not going to shatter.

Exactly! In fact I was at a music festival yesterday and the video shot in the dark is so superb you don't even need a handycam anymore.

Only the Galaxy S2 is equal to the iPhone 4S out of those in terms of camera quality.

Check out this photo I took last night. Note that it was very dark and that there was a lot of shaking going on:

and if you look at the link I posted you'll see that their are two phones that rank either above or with the 4s (the GSII included). I don't think anyone is doubting that the 4s snaps good pics but Apple marketing seems to have done it's job once again by convincing people that there arent any viable alternatives in that category.

I never said there weren't and I agree completely smile.gif Just saying that the Galaxy Nexus isn't one of those viable alternatives. Smartphones are becoming so exciting these days - you actually don't need a point and shoot any longer.

Because there's a reason why it's labeled as an accident. What are you going to do when you're walking around with it in your hand and somebody bumps into you? What are you going to do when you're taking it out of your pocket and it slips out of your hand?

Ghostbusters won't be there to save you bro.
