Switched to the Intel team! :D

thumb.gif Just ordered myself an early Christmas present, 2500k and a Asrock P67 Extreme 4 GEN 3. Two day shipping, hopefully it'll be here by this coming Wednesday.

Also grabbed a new PSU, I was worried my 630 wouldn't be able to handle a OC'd 2500 + two 6950's, any advice on if that was a good choice? Or not worth spending the money? I'm not too great when it comes to PSU's tongue.gif

Technically, the PSU could handle it. However, your current PSU is not designed to truly operate top end hardware.

Yeah, I asked [About it handling my current rig] and got quite a few people saying I was fine because Rosewills Green series are quite good, and while it claims Crossfire and SLI ready, I'm just afraid of it holding me back.

Regardless, I can't wait for my 2500k. applaud.gif

First of all welcome to the intel team. You have made the right choice. SB is still top of the line for now and you will enjoy it.

And it's upgrade-able to Ivy, so you can't loose.

I've owned a 486, a pentium 100, another pentium can't remember, a couple of salvaged pentiums, a P4 3.2GHz, then an pII x4 955, worked great, but now I'm back to a SB

Most of what I'm getting so far is a "Yes, you're fine" even more so since the SB oc'd still pulls less wattage than a 965, so I'm gonna go with that tongue.gif
