Rosewill 630w Green series..

First off, please save any Rosewill hate, I'm not here for your story about how they're horrible.

I've gotten good word about the Green series, and it seems to be alright, but is it enough to actually handle Crossfire and a OC'D 965?

I've ordered a 2500k and plan on OC'ing it to 4-4.5, and thought maybe the 630 isn't enough to handle all this. SO I'm asking if anyone knows, or can chime in on if this PSU would be enough to handle it.

I've ordered another PSU, I'm just wanting confirmation I made the right choice, because my funds are tight and splurging on the 2500/mobo as a Christmas present was hard enough of a choice.

Rosewill is not horrible, some are excellent really.. in regard to your unit, it's a very solid ATNG design that will handle two 6950s in CFX, it lacks the proper connectors though and you'll need two 2x Molex -> 6pin PCIe adapters... 50A is enough for such a setup, not very comfortable but you shouldn't have any problems.
Why have you ordered a different PSU if you're determined to keep this one?

It should handle it fine honestly. It's a good quality 630w unit. 6950 Crossfire will run off 600-650w.

No I was actually looking at a Corsair unit:P

Maybe I didn't word the first post so well. It's not that I want/dont want to get rid of this PSU. I've been under the impression it wouldn't be enough for my rig, and seeing as how I'm getting a 2500k/mobo, I wanted to know if I should go ahead with the order of a new PSU, or keep it.

Money's tight, and a PSU isn't a place I want to go cheap in. But if my current PSU is perfectly fine for a 2500/crossfire [And I already have the PCIE thing situated] then no need to spend the extra money on a new PSU!

I see, if you do get a new PSU though, look at the Rosewill Lightning and Capstone, they're high ends on par with Seasonic X/Corsair AX;)

Especially if you get an i5-2500k, you're fine. At typical voltages required for around 4.5 GHz, they pull under 100W full CPU load.

So long as you don't go nuts OCing the HD 6950s you're fine on the Rosewill Green Series 630W. I wouldn't say you're going cheap, just not going way overkill like most everybody else.
