High OC benchmark single CPU (i5 / i7 / Bulldozer type stuff) and single GPU?

Or benchmarking 3 or 4 high end GPUs OCd with an OC CPU?

I'm on a Corsair Enthusiast 850 TX and I can run a 3 out of 4 core Prime95 Stress test on my 4.8 GHz OC i5-2500K @1.400V with an eVGA video benchmark simultaneously on my single OCd (factory OC) GTX 580 and I barely hit 600W peak. I have 2 x 4GB DIMMs @ 1.50V 1600 MHz 8-8-8-24-2T installed as well.

1200W is enough headroom that I could be running 4 video cards...

How many peripherals are you powering? How much RAM do you have installed on how many DIMMs at what voltage, etc?

More details would help answer the question although my guess is that a 1200W PSU is overkill, regardless of who makes it unless you have 4 GPUS going.

The Silent Pro Gold 1200 is a very good unit at that price is an excellent deal.. it will easily handle up to 3x 580s or 4x 6970s.
