Can I run BF3?

Thread Starter
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, and if it is, I'm sorry for asking again, but do you guys think I could run Battlefield 3 with my sig rig? I know I'll be lowering all the eye candy, but for 30 bucks off Amazon its a great deal.
Thanks in advance!

I'm not up to speed on amd cards but I know a clan mate of mine who ran bf3 on lowest settings with a 9600 and got 2o to 30 frames. Your only bottleneck that I could see would be your gfx card. A quad core is plenty and you have enough ram. Onmy sig rig I play at medium settings, texture quality at maximum (doesn't hinder FPS at all). I get 40 to 30 FPS down into the 20s when **** hits the fan and gets crazy.

Edit: forgot words

Very poorly...

Stick to a low res / lowest settings.

Should be fine with medium settings at 1920x1080.
I can play with lower settings at 1680x1050 with an 8600GTS.

You will, but only at low settings. If you had the money a GTX 560 Ti would run it very well.

Low to Med on a lower res.

Your GPU is the weakest link.
