...for this system? I normally buy Antec, but I can get this for a VERY good price for my brother.

System:
Athlon II x4 645
2x Radeon HD 4850 CrossFireX
1x 7200 RPM 3.5" drive
1x 5400 RPM 2.5" drive
1x DVD drive

This will be run with no overclock. Thanks in advance!

Capable, but its on the upper limit with two 4850s, methinks.

At full load on both video cards AND the CPU it'll only pull about 460 watts. It should be plenty thumb.gif

It's not a 500W unit, it's an overrated CWT DSA and it's a rather poor unit.

DSAII, and no it isn't overrated. +12V is rather weak for a 500W, so you could consider it a 450W, like how I consider the CX430 a 380W.

They were sold out by the time I was able to make it, anyway, so I got a good deal on a 600W OCZ Modxstream- Pro instead.

Thanks for the replys

Yeah the 12V is a little low for a 500 but it should be fine especially if you aren't going to be overclocking
