Internet says its a 4+1

Your order is left from right i'm guessing correct? So i need to tighten my timings? Or up my FSB to OC my RAM?

get your ram set 1st...then OC your cpu/nb..next comes fsb..(you'll have to adjust ram and cpu/nb to be near their previous levels) then.. it's just a matter of multi/vcore..it takes a few hours..do everything in increments..and save profiles..and you will need some llc..on asus..probably ultra high

I'd say enable LLC and increase the voltage. I was able to hit 4.2 with 1.52V 4.0 was at around 1.44 on my 955 C3 I didn't worry about temps because it was under water though.

I had similar issues when I first started Ocing my cpu, after I took everything off of auto voltage no matter what changes I made to Vcore I would still Bsod. I finally narrowed it down to my ram voltage and upped that and took ram timings off of auto and manual set them to their stock speeds which stopped the Bsod's I was getting. If that fix's it start with only a multiplier OC and find out the max you can hit stable with decent temps and if you want a little more performance jump into FSB, once you touch fsb it makes everything run faster so it's a little harder to get stable because it affects pretty much everything.

I was able to get 4.4ghz @ 1.575v, 1.555v after Vdroop but I use a self contained water cooling, H100 so temps are not really a issue.

You need to get the VRMs properly cooled if you want to overclock without seeing some VRM thermal protection-induced performance loss.

ur really gonna need a new board to properly oc a quadcore to the max. Try for a gigabyte 790xt like i got or any board that has a 8+2 phase design
