You could try e-mailing razer to get some "replacement" keycaps for a BWU. Don't know if they would go for it.

But it's worth a shot. wink.gif

They kind of exist:

Those are the ones I was talking about in my previous post. Ones that light only shines through the letter I've never seen in the aftermarket.

Im not really sure what kind of key caps we are talking about now lol. Im just going to suggest that he should get different color LEDs and put them in himself if he wants different colored letters.
If hes looking for key caps the only easily obtainable backlit key caps I know of are from these TG3 key boards but only the main letters, #, and symbol keys would fit and either way it has an odd key cap design. They can be found for about $30 shipped sometimes.

LOL... I wish I knew the industry's term for the kind of keycap I am looking for... makes it hard to search for them. I am finding a lot of custom shops around the states that do caps, fired off a few emails... I doubt i will get what i am looking for but maybe i will get some terms. smile.gif

Here are a few pictures of what I talking about...

First, the backlit key. I am looking for a colored keycap (not colored LED. Planning on sticking with stock Ducky lamps)

I am wondering if I can get something like this:
Capture.jpg

Which allows the light to come through the letter like this:
inset1_keys.jpg

I know that the Cyborg V.7 has the concept of what I want:
Capture-1.jpg

I like the concept of orange WASD keys to get my attention.

Hope this clears up what I am looking for. Sorry it took a few posts, but I have been searching and learning since the OP. I never knew keyboards where this complex. Never spend more than $20 on them until my first backlit Logitech.

So you want keycaps that will let the light shine through?
I think he wants certain keys to be more noticeable like a backlit wasd set of a different color cap. I would just change the LED in the switch housing to a different color LED similar to this deck.

Magna224, he doesn't want different colored LEDs. How many times are you gonna make him say it?

He wants clear caps that are painted (except for the letter) so that the backlight shines through. Such as these red ones:

448

I got some sweet purple caps with my ducky shine. I also wish i could find more...
