Safe to use 3yr old PSU in new rig?

My current power supply(Corsair 750TX):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

I bought this PSU in August of '08

Current rig (have never OC'ed except factory gpu and have had it on about 12/7): Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Superclocked 8800GT 512MB
Athlon X2 6400+ 3.2GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
Gigabyte nForce Mobo
(more specifics can be given if needed)

Future rig(ordering this weekend for the deals): Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
GTX 560 Ti SLI or GTX 570 (not ordered yet)
Corsair 8GB RAM (2x4GB) (ordered)
i5-2500K (ordered)
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO MOBO (ordered)
COOLER MASTER HAF X Blue Edition (not ordered yet)
CM Hyper 212 Evo (not ordered yet)
Minor Miscellaneous

+ Plan on OC'ing everything (2500k to 4.5GHz)

I have checked most of the PSU calculators and I think I should be fine in the wattage area, but am concerned as to the safety to my new rig. If worse comes to worse I may be able to afford another PSU by the end of the year. Am I taking any substantial risk here?

Any thoughts or input will be highly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Love the site so far smile.gif

You're good for 3 570s if you must. Age won't matter for that psu and your old rig didn't even make the psu sweat

You should be fine. I have a Corsair 450w VX that's 4 years old and it's been through 2 builds, still working fine today. I plan on upgrading to ivy bridge next year and will finally retire it.
