First of all,hi to everybody...This is my first post on this site...I have a problem with this motherboard.A couple of day ago i bought a new computer,so i now have:
M5A88-V-Evo MoBo
Phenom II X4 955 BE,etc...
I decided to clock my CPU to 3.8 Ghz with 1.4 V and NB 2600 Mhz with 1.325 V...
I noticed a significant Vdroop when i start up Prime95 test, the voltage drops from 1.4 V to 1.356 V...( but it still passed the test)...When i enabled LLC to stabilize the Vdroop the voltage actually rised from 1.4 to 1.45 V...I know that there is bound to be some Vdroop on every MoBo,but ive been toild that this much Vdroop i am experiencing is way too much...I am quite annoyed by this Vdroop, because there is no chance of getting my CPU to 4 Ghz and NB to 2800 Mhz because when i set the CPU to 1.475 it drops to 1.45 and cos it is apparently too low i just get the BOSD...I tried with higher voltages as well but the Vdroop is even worse then...And when i enable LLC it jumps from 1.45 to 1.51...Does anyone have any suggestion on how to resolve this issue?
