Yeah, I've been reading about overclocking. I'm always up for a challenge smile.gif I tried to get the best motherboard for my money so that I could do just that.

I've read that you can unlock the shaders on my hd6950 on the reference model, and also some people having luck with the Saphire Dirt edition too (which is the one I have) I'm think I'll start there.

+1 for no side panel on tongue.gif

That looks fantastic. Really good cable management! I'm jealous! I stink at cable management. biggrin.gif
As you can see I need to work harder with cable management XD

As far as OCing goes, if your do that your gonna wanna get a beefier cooler. Intel stock coolers don't give you much headroom. biggrin.gif

Thread Starter
biggrin.gif thanks you guys! all your computers are fantastic looking smile.gif

My next steps I think will be to get the rest of the fans for my case, it will take 2 more large fans and 1 more smaller one. Then get my 2nd 6950 and two additional monitors for eyefinity.

Last will be the new cooler (water is the way to go I suppose) and seeing if I can make sense of the overclocking. All I've ever done is overclock my old video card with rivatuner... but that's probly a bit easy compared to the cpu redface.gif
