given that the thickness of a double-stack of SSD drives will still be thinner than a single 3.5" drive, you should be right. If you want to be safe, you can also grab some of silverstone's really low profile sata connectors to cut down on cable bulk (fairly sure they were released late last year?)

keep in mind I don't yet own a FT03, but I do have experience in stuffing SSD's and HDD's in weird places biggrin.gif

Anybody know of anyone that can make a simple acrylic flooring? I really don't wanna invest in a heat gun right now.

Would like it to look something like this. The original PSU plate would be removed. The acrylic flooring where the two 80mm fans are would be curved down at the end. (Just like Fakebloods FT03 build).

If you don't want to bend it go to a plastics place get some Methylene chloride its used for bonding acrylic and plexi glass then cut it to size bond and your done..... Will look better IMO bends on sheet won't look quite as nice in this instance...
Fairly certain the stuff they use for bonding is fairly inexpensive

Oh and most plastics places have bulk scrap bins... You can get a fair amount
Of scrap sheet acrylic for dirt cheap

id just mount two on the inside of the back panel thats where i have my single ssd currently, as with two drives installed in the back and cables (even with short cables) i didnt have enough room to mount the ssd behind.

Evening gang,

Quick question / recommendation request. So I'm working on wiring this week and my FT03-mini build should be complete, though I need to finish up with lighting. Can anyone recommend a high quality UV led strip for a very small space conscious build? Ideally something flexible, 6" or less (8" max), with quality lighting? I know it can be really hit or miss with lighting components, so I wanted to ask before splurging on a dozen items.

Thanks!

I usually just eBay them from china,
They are the flexible type that can easily be modded to length
I ordered a set 6 months back... They were like less then 10 bucks shipped and
I got 4 ft of them....

Here is a link to 5m worth for 12 bucks with shipping

Let the modding commence! Excited!.......not really.

completely butchering this plexiglass with the plastic cutter, lmao. Good thing I got some sandpaper to even the cuts out, and that I bought a large piece of plexiglass. Hopefully my measurements are right. rolleyes.gifbiggrin.gif
