1/4 inch inner diameter on the fittings for both the radiator and pump/block. It is very easily doable. i will be making a video this weekend of me tearing down and modding the antec version of the h50. I will make a thread on here for it, stay tuned lol

UPDATE VIDEO

some things i didnt mention:

- power supply has been upgraded to an 850 to accommodate the extra 460 i added.
-Added a 60gb Patriot Pyro SSD and 1 more 500gb sata
-using 16gb of Kingston hyper X ram (think i said crucial in the video)

yep yep...thumb.gif

another quick walk around. TURN DOWN SOUND FIRST..running a 1.8amp Senseflo fan and it sounds like a frikking jet is landing in my living room LOL

So i just got home from MicroCenter over in Brentwood, MO. Stopped in and picked up 2 Corsair H70s. i will be modding them onto my GTX460s this weekend. starting tonight with making the tutorial on how easy it is to mod the lines in the prebuilt systems.

WISH ME LUCK ALL biggrin.gif:thumb:

yep its like a 30 min drive for me lol but always worth the trip. Billy over in the Build it Yourself section is my man!

So, as to my research so far...no one has done this yet,and some say its not possible...Im calling bluff on this! i have found an article that im using for reference and tweaking his design a bit to fit a GTX460 referenced board. I will be going to machine shop tomorrow for some help with the cutting of a new bracket that will be epoxy welded to the modified factory bracket. if all goes well i should have an H70 on the card tomorrow night.

so for now...all ive achieved tonight is putting my zulman vga ram heatsinks on and chopping up the stock cooler to allow the EVGA case to go back on the card after modding.

this is could be Epic-Awesome OR epic-failure.
stay tuned for results tomorrow and wish me luck!! thumb.gif

just got home from work. stopped by at the local machine shop and gave them one of the brackets from the H70 kit and the dimensions for everything. if they get it figured out i will be ordering a handful of them for anyone interested. in the mean time tho... I went to the hardware shop and found the tiny bolts washers and nuts i need for the mod. also i picked up a 0.25in acrylic to see what i can come up with tonight.

acrylic is stenciled and ready for my dremmel. we will see you guys in a bit with some pics or some sad faces...either way should be interesting!!

Here it is... after breaking about half the 50.00 worth of acrylic working out all the kinks i got myself an H70 Liquid cooled GTX460....And dare i say maybe the first of its kinds!!

337337337

now its time to take apart the other 460 and make another one tomorrow, then tear down the running system and add the pumps to it and VIOLA!! so ill have an h60 cooled cpu and dual 460s each with an h70 and two rads and my 250mm rez all on one loop.

going to be having some nice brackets made next week but these will do for now... IM SUPER STOKED!
