new score after tweaks...WOOOT!! not bad for not even touching ram yet and only a 40mhz bump on the gfx cards. wiped both drives and clean install with new drivers and all the good stuff. followed sean's ssd guide and vipers Win7 guide. now just chillin on overclock fun until the rest of me parts get here

little bit bump in ram and couple bumps in clocks

the guy pmed me on here and said it shipped today and i should have it by friday or saturday. i might try to enlist your help in setting it up as i know nothing of hooking up a water cooling setup on my cpu and am interested in making sure its as painless as possible. do i need to try to make sure theres no airbubbles in the setup?

With most of the money spent on tubing, acrylic and other odds and ends I don't see why you would want to go through all of this when you could get a proper water cooling setup.

1: because i think its cool
2: because everyone thinks its silly biggrin.gif
3: becuase its cheaper...and still effective.

h60 - $50
h70 - $60 each
tubes - 25cents/ft
zip ties - $2
acrylic - $50...which also is enough to do my front panel mod and my other gfx card and then some
xspc rez - $25
total is roughly 240...and thats only because of the huge sheet of acrylic i purchased. minus that puts me at 190...that would get me a Rasa kit. but i would still be missing my gpu blocks.

i have never pushed my system past the point where my DIY mod kit couldnt handle it. even w/ my oc @4.1 and nb@3ghz i still only hit 50*c after running prime for a few hours. more expensive kits can do a better job..but am i really using that extra bang? not me atleast. i have something unique, effective, and have enjoyed putting my spare time and efforts into....isnt that why we all mod?? thumb.gif

no...the corsair/antec kits do not run a reservoir. everything is pre assembled. tubes are already connected and system is pressurized...all you have to do is plug it in.
