Does anyone else get cold hands when using their mouse?

For some reason, my hands always get really cold when using my Logitech G500, it is due to blood not flowing through the veins well. I think I might need a more ergonomic mouse. Has anyone else had this issue with the G500 or another mouse?

I have Roccat Kone[+] and Logitech G400 which have similar shape to G500. My hands start to sweat after using them long time. I use claw-grip.

I have a G500 as well and have not experienced that problem specifically, however the way my computer desk is both of my hands rest on the edge of the desk right before the elbows and that tends to cut of the blood circulation to my hands after some time of computer use. I move my hands to a different position for a little bit and get the blood flowing. I also used MX518 before that and have not had the cold hands problem either.
Have you tried using a pillow under your forearms? Maybe that wont put as much pressure on your hands and get better circulation. The reason for that is that I think the problem lies in getting the blood to your hands and not necessarily the ergonomics of the mouse. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the tip, I switched my chair to a more ergonomic one with height adjustable arm rests and I don't experience the problem anymore. I wish I had asked sooner!

As the others have said, it is the circulation which needs to be addressed by lifting the hand thumb.gif

You might also try adjusting the height of your chair. This could also let the blood flow more freely into your hands
