Yup, I've plugged into SYS_FAN... for some reason the CPU header seems to vary the cooling, going on and off + low RPM. I've yet to fiddle with the BIOS to get the fan settings donw pat, but I'll figure it out I'm sure.

Ah right. OK. I'll make sure to test that out with my BT/Tuniq Tower to see if the different header does indeed affect the fan, or if it's just the Intel HSF.

I've made it to 333x7 (2323Mhz) Temps are getting higher, I'll try and keep it below 60, or else I'll have to stop around 2.4GHz. One thing I don't understand is that I've set the BIOS to 333, but it automatically sets it to 332. Furthermore, I can set it to 334, and it will stay at 334. Very strange.

You should look at getting an aftermarket cooler with some AS5.

I already applied some AS5, and made sure that the CPU fan runs full speed 24/7. I just think that the stock cooler is crap... but with the additional case costs and additional memory costs I don't want to put any more money into it, even though a decent cooler can be had for less than 30 bucks.... Those are core temps so I can probably hit 65C w/o problems... however I'll definately want to keep it below 60

How many RPM did you manage to get out of your CPU heatsink fan by plugging it into the SYS fan slot?
I cant seem to get much RPM out of it. With it in the CPU slot. Pitty I cant really move it to the other slot for a fan because its already in use. Makeshift GPU fan .

In BIOS it says I'm getting 1800~1900RPM... In windows (Gigabyte EasyTune) it says 6000RPM... I'm thinking BIOS is right.

I've just boosted the OC to 2604Mhz (372x7), droped the VCore and Raised VDimm to accomadate faster speed and tight timings (3-3-3-7). I'm probably not going to test for stability with Orthos, but see how it runs with F@H. Too bad I've been getting some crappy 44 pointers.

EDIT:

VCore in BIOS 1.2875
VDimm in BIOS +0.3 (or 2.1V)
Timings 3-3-3-7

Just went to bios to check the actual values instead of giving approximations.
