People will often cite how amazing X rig will be for folding and in their sig, they've got 1 or 2 million F@H points...so what I don't understand is why you'd look at a system with F@H in mind if you're only using your current system at < 5% capacity for folding in the first place?
If your computers were running F@H a serious amount of time per day, I could understand trying to maximize that with a speedier system and upgrades to get more work units done per day...but the fact is that 99% of the folders here that make posts like "can't wait to build my new E5 2690 SR3 for folding!" could probably see an increase of 30-40X by simply ACTUALLY folding on their current rig instead of just thinking about it.

my rig folds 24/7 but just started really folding last month (815k points november)
but I wouldn't mind having that x79 to leave running at work (I have a crappy comp in the lunchroom) and could just really leave that on all the time without killing my electric bill.
