Nephew wants a Modded Controller...

Thread Starter
So my nephew has asked for a modded controller for XBox 360 and never having had a console & always using my keyboard I am completely clueless as to what to be getting. I did notice in my browsing that mods can be game specific so I followed up and he is playing CoDMW3 and Saints Row 3. So I should be getting one that is CoD modded or what? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated...THX!!

Dont buy him that. It turns semi auto guns (pistols) into full auto and its cheating.

But if he really wants it go look at evilcontroller I hear they are the best ones.

Edit: Also, a modded controller will work for any game that uses the trigger to shoot. They all do the same thing.

ya its cheating and ruins the game... might as well start hacking too. Many many people (Including myself) get very angry towards people using modded stuff like that to give them the edge in the game....

I have the same feelings on the matter but you know how it goes at Xmas...ask and they shall receive. He's actually asked his Grandma and Grandpa (my in-laws) for it so he WILL be getting it one way or another. Thanks for the tip!

I remember fighting people in GoW 2 with a modded controller. Turned that Locust Assault Rifle into a shotgun.

Look for a intensafire mod. Had one of these about a year ago and it is the best mod you can get.

Well I do have first hand knowledge that Microsoft does sell these with a rebranded name so there isn't much they will do about people using them. Please do not tell me I am wrong as I know a manager for the Live team and he confirmed it. Just don't buy the ones with the "fast reload" option as they will take action against that.

Although one of the best brands is Evil, I wouldn't go for one as they go for like up to triple the price of a regular controller and as if those things weren't already overpriced.

Even if he does have one $10 he won't use to too much as I got one and just kinda never used the rapid-fire as it was almost pointless and broke relatively fast.

Thanks again guys...I am going to try to sell him on NOT getting one based on everyone's feedback. Hopefully I can steer him on the right path. I have personally done my fair share of cheat mods (nothing in online multiplayer, just FPS) and it gets quite boring when all you have to do is run and shoot and keep shooting without any care in the world. Only did it in the past with old Doom games when I just couldn't keep up...but then it just became pointless.
