Corsair TX750V2 vs Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W

Hi, Im building an SLI gaming rig with an intention to overclock my CPU to the max

I was about to buy the Corsair TX750V2 from newegg which was on sale. I however accidentally missed the sale. I noticed that newegg still has the thermaltake on sale cheaper than the corsair.....

Is the thermaltake any good as a PSU? is it going to be overkill? any suggestions?

Thanks..

Both are 80 Plus Bronze Certified. If I SLI 2 x 580, I would take the 850w.

But if you can wait for this unit to go on sale, it's 80 Plus Gold Certified http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151087

Not even a contest, the Black Widow is crap.
You didn't say what GPU you're planning on SLI'ing together however, so the wattage requirement kind of varies. The Corsair TX750V2 is technically enough even for a pair of GTX 580s although 850W would be more comfortable. Anything else than GTX 580s is fine on a good 750W like that Corsair.

80 Plus is not a certificate of quality.
