Why not wait for Ivy bridge for the kids? As I have read the HD4000 should be capable of playing atm games just fine @ med settings. And Kepler is on it's way also.

Yeah, I've decided to hold off on the project. I'm down to CPU, Motherbard, and when I buy one of the 28nm GPU's they will get my GTX 580 hand down.

By the time I'm ready with budget I will upgrade myself to a PCIe 3.0 Ivy bridge and the can have my X58 i7 950 combo.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys appreciated vey much. Made a wise choice being patient.
