Overclocking P4

Thread Starter
Hey guys, this is my first post, bit of a OC noob

At the moment i have my P4 1.80AGhz CPU overclocked to 2.01Ghz on my MSI 865PE Neo2-S, the Multiplier is 18, so obviously stock FSB clock speed 100...

I currently have mine at 112Mhz, and a core speed of 2020.5Mhz, I get load temperatures of about 35C maximum, all with stock cooling, except for thermaltake thunderblade II case fan... Just wondering how much further you guys would recommend going, if any

Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the forum

I see that must be the northwood core CPU on the 400MHz Bus.

Looking at your temps they are fine, 55*C seems to be the threshold for these CPU's.

What voltage are you running it at? Is it still at stock voltage?
