Why wouldn't it be? I'm not trying to be harsh but its a dual channel DDR3 kit...pretty self explanatory if you just read the motherboard specs.

Sweet! Thank you.

I wasn't sure because I was looking a the QVL data sheet from Asus and it listed the model "CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B" without the extra letter 'B' at the end.

FYI- RAM now days needs to be properly qualified for the CPU it will be used with. Some RAM works fine with both AMD and Intel CPUs and some does not.

It's also worth noting that Asus mobos tend to be extremely RAM sensitive compared to other brands of mobos. Some RAM approved for Asus mobos on the Asus QVL list on occasion does not funtion without issues and must be changed to a different model RAM.
