Nice, that car is detailed really nicely.

I may have missed it but I don't think you said which camera you got? Anyway, like others said, a CPL will really help cut down those reflections if you want.

The camera was d5000, and thanks! I am always cleaning it! biggrin.gif I recently found a brand of car care products and also a forum, called Adams. I haven't tried the product out yet, but the forum has some really good advice and tips! What sites do you go to? And what are your favorite products if you feel like listing? biggrin.gif

Oh I'm not a detailer. I claybar my car maybe once a year after winter and wax a few times, so nothing special really. I'm pretty lazy about it tongue.gif

Off topic: Where you live, reminds me so much of Ferris Bueller's day off that its blowing my mind. The bit where he goes to his friends house and they take the Dad's car? If you haven't seen it, watch it, if your garage there was made of glass it would be a dead ringer.

Totally Agree!

Very nice turbo! I should have bought a hard top considering the weather where I live, but knowing that I can put the top down is always nice. smile.gif

You should check out Griots products as well. They make some really nice stuff.

As far as polishes go, I suggest 3M, Swissvax, Meguiars, and Visomax Prometheus products. The Visomax stuff is awesome, but it's really hard to get it over here. Sherman Williams is one of the only places I know that can get it, and there's only one sherman williams near me that does auto stuff.

I've got a ton of photos of various restorations I've done to a few of my cars, and some friends cars as well. I'll make them a new thread here sometime. smile.gif

Photos were taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel, and the factory 18-55mm lens.

I'll have to try those products out. I have some griots products right now, they are pretty good. My current favorite cleaner and wax is zymol. But only the real stuff! The zymol in regular stores is crap. I go to a local bmw place to pick it up.

Zymol makes good stuff, I've got Concourse, Crystal Rock, Ital, Atlantique, Vintage, and Destiny. I use their cleanser, clay, and clay lubricant as well. I wish they still made Crystal Rock, my containers only ever been used twice (once on my C4S and once on my M Roadster, which is four uses total), so it's still got 95+% of it there, but if I ever run out I'll cry.

The swissvax stuff is great. I've got a few of their kits, and then a bunch of their individual waxes and polishes. They make on of the best plastic polishes I've ever used.

You have a z4 M roadster too! LOL, I use to have one. It was a fun car! Only problem I had was that I drove it in the winter (blushsmiley.gif ) and the rear window would always fog up while I was driving it.

Mines an '02 Z3 ///M Roadster. Pics:

Right after I put on the lowering springs and polished it.

I'll put up more later. They're on my computer at home and I just remember I shut my rig down when I left, so no way to remote desktop and upload the rest.

I want to get a Z4 ///M and swap in the S85 V10 from the M5, but I've got to sell the turbo cab before I can do that. My wife already hates that I have three cars, if I get a fourth I'll loose the balls.
