Read CPU temp in VB.net

Hi all, i need to be able to read and display the CPU temperature of the computer im working on so i can display it on my software.
I have tried using WMI but unfortunately my motherboard does not support it.

This is the current code i have

Try
Dim searcher As New ManagementObjectSearcher("root\WMI", "SELECT * FROM MSAcpi_ThermalZoneTemperature")

For Each queryObj As ManagementObject In searcher.Get()
Dim temp As Double = CDbl(queryObj("CurrentTemperature"))
temp = (temp - 2732) / 10.0
temptext.Text = temp
Next

Catch ex As ManagementException
temptext.Text = "Not"
End Try

so i was wondering does anyone know another way of obtaining the temperature?

ps. ignore the temptext.Text = "Not" part i had to put that there cause of the constant message boxes i was getting telling me my motherboard does not support it.

Thanks

I have searched for the same thing many times before. I would be interested if you came across something.
