I knew GameStop was a terrible company, but not this terrible

Last week I ordered a PS2 controller from the GameStop website because they were on sale for Black Friday. Anyway, a few days ago I got an e-mail saying that the order was canceled. I paid using a $20 Gamestop credit I had from a long time ago and I paid the rest with my credit card. Anyway, I checked yesterday and the money taken from my credit card was refunded, but when I checked my Gamestop credit balance it said $0.00.

I called up GameStop's CS department and spoke to a very monotonous man who wasn't helpful at all. Also, he told me that gift card balances are non-refundable for online purchases from the website... Really GameStop? Is that how you treat customers? I was going to use the $20 to buy a game as well today because I had some friends coming over, but it said $0.00 in the store as well.

So now I am out $20 of GameStop credit... What a horrible company...

Finally someone who understands... A company shouldn't treat customers like this. It's like buying a $500 TV at Walmart and it not working and them refusing to refund you but they take the TV back anyway.
