Using the HTC dev tool to unlock the bootloader did NOT give you S-off, it just opened it a little bit to make people stop complaining. From what i've heard on xda, the Rezound is proving to be quite well plugged up.
.

indeed, that blows.

I give them a higher chance of getting arround it than with the motorola method though.

Samsung is the only safe way.....

Both my data radios are out, beginning from around 11 AM today. A VZW associate called me this evening saying they're working with Motorola to identify what precisely happened. He said one solution might be replacing the SIM card, but that they had not pushed any updates to any devices, so I'm not certain what could have prompted such a failure.

Nice phone though! biggrin.gif

LOL, you haven't looked at the Galaxy Nexus at all have you, its barely bigger than the Rezound and Razr, and it's lighter and thinner than the Rezound. . I'll take a much better experiences over a couple MM's of size. Inb4 that's what she said.

If it's size you'er worried about, look at this image...
razr-nexus-rezound-screen-brightness-650x432.jpg
You''ll see regardless of the G-Nex's massive screen, the phone is hardly bigger. No touch buttons; the screen takes up much more of the actual phone, without making the phone bigger really.
It doesn't mean no CM, but it sure makes it a whole lot harder. The DX, D2, DX2, D3, Bionic, and RAZR all got/will get CM. I'm sure someone will port it somehow.

This image says it perfectly, the G-Nex is only a a small amount bigger and is lighter than the Rezound. But more power to those who like locked bootloaders.

The Rezound doesn't have a locked bootloader like the RAZR, it will get the same as any other HTC Phone so I'm not worried about that. The nexus specs as a phone are just meh..it has a 5 mp camera..really..this is your flagship phone here..and a slower processor than the Rezound. The only thing it has is ICS over the rezound...and the rezound will get that next year..

The Rezound has the better camera image quality I'll give you that, but loses in shutter speed. Also, the processor is not faster, the Snapdragon at 1.5GHZ matches the Cortex A9 at 1.2GHZ, with a customer kernel the G-Nex can be put back at it's stock speed of 1.5 where it will smash the Snapdragon in CPU tasks and most likely GPU performance as well. And yes the Rezeound will get ICS, but it will be sense bloated ICS.

So how much (if any) does the internal only memory of the Gnex matter/bother you guys in deciding this phone over others?

As long as I get a 32gb, I welcome the 100mbs+ speeds of the internal memory. It's like an ssd for phones.

A lot actually. I ended up buying the Rezound over the Gnex because of that reason, until Google Music stops converting my FLAC files to .mp3 I'm still storing music on my phone. However, the first thing I did was download a custom Launcher so I didn't have to use Sense. In all honesty I think that if you buy any of these three phones you'll probably be happy with it, they're all really nice.

You're right really, I know though myself (surprised I see this) have gotten/get caught up in having the "best of the best". I know I'd like to have a phone that wont be outdated a month after it comes out.....but really I don't think that can be prevented anymore lol.
