Corsair Vengeance

Thread Starter
Is it worth getting another 8Gb of Vengeance memory to add to my system? Prices have halved in the last few months so just wondering if it's worth it. I mainly use my rig for gaming and the occasional HD video encoding.

Well the question is did you ever filled your 8gb ?

It's worth it if you require it, also bere in mind fully populated memory sockets may affect your potential overclocking headroom.

That's the only thing putting me off remembering the last time i bought extra ram on my C2D rig and no overclocking to be had. currently my ram is overclocked to 1866 from 1600 @9.9.9.24 so if i added 2 more sticks i probably wouldn't get no where close to that. oh well looks like i'll spend it on some lights and a Bluray drive instead
