I need help ASAP, I am about to buy a case before I go to bed but I am not sure which one I should get, they are both the exact same price. I don't want to spend more than $150, I am just look for the case with the best cable management, design, value, quality, I don't care about water cooling features and I am not going to be using dual PSU so that feature doesn't make the HAF 932 better in my eyes. Which one should I get and why. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I am inclined to say the Thor. I have seen so many HAF cases. They are nice, I have the 922, but that Thor is sexy in white. thumb.gif

+ the CM grommets will make your case look more tidey in the Thor
+Thor has an integrated fan controller (6 fans)

And the fact that the Thor can support XL-ATX rather than E-ATX. Also, the USB3 ports are part of the front panel, whereas the HAF 932 uses a 5.25 bay slot for the USB3 ports.

Not hating on the 932 though, I own one and I love mine.

I would recommend an Azza Hurrican if you could get a better price on it; my friend snagged a good price at a microcenter
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517011

Great cooling and nice hot swap bays in the front.

I would also recommend the Corsair 500r or 600t

But out of those two I would go with the Thor. My case is a rosewill case and is a really nice case. Also far fewer people have the Thor; tons of people have the HAF series and they all look roughly the same in the front.

Thanks Rocko, I agree that it is more unique, that is why I myself was more inclined to get the thor but I wasn't sure about the quality because it is a Rosewill case and only 3 reviews on newegg, what do you think about the quality of the case and airflow etc.

when I typed this I didn't read the other replies, I am asking all the others as well. I think I have decided on the Thor though, any other input is welcome.

Like I stated, my Blackhawk is Rosewill and the quality is very good. The Cable management grommets in mine pop out too easily but I believe the square ones in the Thor might stay in better. I don't remember who but someone had a review of the Thor.

Here are a couple reviews:

I don't have first hand experience with it, but Rosewill has been shelving out very decent products within the last 6 months. I wouldn't be surprised if the quality was on par or surpassed that of the 932. As for airflow, they look like they will be about the same. The "stock" fan placement and air paths are very identical. I really do like the idea of the top flaps on the Thor, reason being is, when you don't need the extra cooling, they can be closed (by my understanding) and that would reduce audible noise. While I don't want to knock on the HAF series for being "High Air Flow," I also do know that all the open-ness produces more noise than I would like at times.

Really, you wouldn't be going wrong with the 932 either, its a quality built case, but the thing is, it may be outliving its shelf life- having to add a separate USB 3.0 plate instead of integrated. The Thor v2 came out more recently and has more features people want.

I've built 8 or 9 boxes in the HAF 932, so obviously I like them, but looking at the pictures of the Thor V2 it seems to address two things that have always bothered me about the 932 - the CPU cutout in the 932 is a bit small and oddly-placed, and a 150.00 case should come with grommets around the cable routing cutouts.

That said, since I've never touched a Rosewill case, I can't speak to their build/material quality, but all three reviews of the Thor V2 have a gripe of some sort. Plus, I'm wary of white cases... I've seen a lot of white cases where the hue of the plastic doesn't match the hue of the paint, and it just ruins what should have been a good-looking case.

In any event, pros for the 932 are

1) Great airflow (common to see dust on the grills of the intake/exhaust fans, and find not a trace of it inside the case itself)
2) Good cable routing, despite the lack of grommets.
3) Solid aesthetic. Even a fistful of low-end parts look badass in a 932.

Cons
1) More than a few people have had issues with the USB ports on 932s - for one, they are upside down. Beyond that, some people complain that they are flimsy, and a few have had them short out. I've not had that experience myself, but it's a common enough complaint to not be a coincidence.
2) Kinda dated look, even though I happen to like it. Black/Red is sort of ugly, especially when...
3) That front LED can be seen from space, and it is BLUE, all caps.

EDIT: eh, reading what others advised, you probably went the right way. Thor V2 appears to have everything the 932 does, plus a few features more.
