This is honestly the best thing I have read all day. I just read it on IGN and was going to post it here myself but got beaten to the punch. Now let's see if Bethesda actually deliver.

Touche.

As for textures it should be easy. Most, if not all the texture mods don't really overwrite anything unless it's overwriting another mod. Instead they just make a new 'texture' folder and everything is placed there.

Dragons flying backwards is not rare or amazing at all. This is their apology? They're pleased about this? Quite amazing indeed.
Also they forgot subtitles getting messed up and save games breaking. All of these were introduced with the official patch. What a shame.

I for one have not suffered any of those post 1.2 You know it will be fixed this is bethsedas baby after all. Find a mod to roll back to pre 1.2 Im sure they have it

Good I will wait for the real mods to come out before I buy it though. While I love the series I don't love how they handled Skyrim to this point....definitely wont be wasting my time buying on steam. Always goes easier when the game is a hard copy with no 3rd party auto-patching lol.
