[Build Log] Project Genesis

Sup guys,
This will be my build log for my 2500k build. Only thing I haven't decided on yet is the graphics card. I don't do a lot of gaming so I didn't want to throw down on a real expensive card. Still tryin to make up my mind.....

I plan to try my hand at sleeving with this build. May take me some time to finish the build but I want it to look good and want to take my time with it. This will be the last build for myself for a while. (~i think lol)

Parts listed below:
Case: Antec 1100 Some may dislike this, but I really like this case.thumb.gif
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K
Mobo: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P
RAM: G.Skill 16GB 1600Mhz Got it cheap tongue.gif
CPU Cooling: CM Hyper 212+
PSU: SeaSonic X750Gold
Storage: 2x WD Caviar Black 1TB Been saving these for this build. Bought them before the floods. applaud.gif
GPU: TBD

What do you guys think so far? I'm hyped for it. Going to be very busy next week with work, but I'm going to try to start the sleeving process. Anyways, waitin on my case but here is a pic of what I have right now.

Congrats on the new build and may I suggest a GTX460 for the GPU? Not that expensive but is great for single monitor gaming (when you plan on actually gaming biggrin.gif)

That is the one I have been looking at. I'm not familiar with the "green" side and there are quite a few different 460s. Not sure which is which lol.

oh, and thanks!

I'd suggest an Evga one. Maybe http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130571 Evga makes great cards in my experience and they have good warranties

is the only difference between this card and the one above the warranty?

I was never quite sure on that price discrepancy it may be the warranty, but not sure. I'd just go for the cheaper one personally. Or if you can afford it, get the "EE" or External Exhaust. It's the one with the blower and I love GPUs that have them.
