controller buttons messed up~anybody got a fix???? its important

hey guys,
so finally bought a ps3 and it came with 1 controller and wwe SvR 2011.... i wanted to play wwe with my brother so i plugged my pc controller in the ps3, it was working fine, but the x,o,square and triangle keys were jumbled up!!!! so is there any way i can fix that??? it wouldnt hurt me to open up the controller and mix match the wires cause i have a soldering iron i can use it.... but still i would prefer software fix before hardware..... any ideas???
