also, how do you plan to run your intake/exhaust fans? just curious.
3 Intake on the Front, 3 Exhaust on the rear

I had a U2-UFO before and i liked that, so i know i will like this one

great! what will your rad setup ultimately be? will you have any of your rads on intake fans? how do you feel about that? i'm questioning that myself for my upcoming build.

i'm considering doing 4 intake and 2 exhaust (one of the 240s on the top) but then i'll have one 120 rad on intake on the bottom. i want to produce positive pressure in the case. do you think that would be ok/produce the desired effect?

Looks are very important for my builds so the fans will always be on the outside of the rad so it will work like this

On the Front the fans will be pulling air in and pushing it through the rad

On the rear the fans will be pulling air out the case and sucking it through the rad

if that makes sense lol

2x 240's I might had an additional 120 if i need to but i think ill be ok

to be honest i never really pay attention to postive or negative pressure.

yeah, that makes sense to me. so you will be having a 240 rad on intake fans blowing through the case. so if you're not worried about that, then i don't think i need to fret over a 120 rad on intake, with 4 intake and 2 exhaust for positive pressure, yeah?

looking good, can't wait to see it finished and how it performs!

*edit* oh hey, another question, if i may. about the 5.25 bays, did you need an optical drive particularly, or did you just need *something* in the bottom slot? i'm hoping to put my fan controller there and use that to secure the bay mounts. what do you think?

the screws come from the bottom of the case into the bottom of the optical drive, so it seems the optical drive has to go on the bottom

this my planned loop

See the clever place i managed to put the fan controller

I really just need it because the mobo doesnt have enough 3 pin connectors

haha, i know right? =) i can't wait to see how his comes out!

it's been about 7 months i think since i started planning my own build, so i understand. =) well i'm happy to say that my H2gO will be arriving next week! =) though my water cooling parts will be coming a little bit later. first i want to make sure all my tech works before i put it under water.

question to blindsay: how many fittings did you get that are at an angle? 45 degrees and 90 degrees.

i didnt know, i just own enough of them at this point that it doesnt matter lol

Back when i didnt have enough fittings, i would just stare at a case and try to visualize my loop. im a very visual person so it was easy for me

lol awesome. =) i do sorta of the same thing, visualizing, but my spatial reasoning is poor, so it's hard for me to accurately envision those tight angles.

GTX240 and a RS240, didnt have as much room on the side of the video cards so i wanted a thinner rad there

there is a fill port on top of the res and there is a cutout in the mobo tray thats above that so i can snake a piece of tubing in there
