but thanks for the bug fixes biggrin.gif great job DICE. dunno why people hate battlelog, its pretty good imo and everything about the game, even multiplayer connectivity and destructible environments is either tolerable or really awesome and not like MW2 or COD in general at all.
but needs more viop

It's in battlelog...

No, I understood it. If it really matters, you can have the party formed before the starting timer is finished. However, it'd be just as bad having it default on and having to listen to people I have no desire to listen to, they just need to be spawn points for me. You're not going to get tactical cooperation between 4 pugs, and anything relevant enough to say to your squad that isn't tactical should be said to team, and team-wide voice chat is just a horrific thought.

The IRNV is a joke, it really is. I decided to see what all the fuss was about and finally used it, I had my best TM DM round ever, I even got called a cheater. It makes killing people so easy its not even funny. I stopped using it right away, why? Because the game wasn't fun for me, its cheap.

Same goes for the tactical light and the laser sight, I really dont get enjoyment out of relying on cheap little tricks to kill people in a video game. If your that hard up that you have to rely on shining a flashlight in your opponents eyes to win in an online game, thats just sad. But I hear you say "But they use tact lights in real life bro!" Well they use them because its a life and death situation where any advantage needs to be taken, but this is a video game. Its not life and death. Shining a light at someone requires the skill a monkey could possess.

The more I play BF3 the more I feel like they have turned it into CoD, which rewards people for using cheap crap. If you think the IRNV is great and shining lights in peoples eyes is cool, you really should go play whatever the newest CoD game is, you will LOVE IT.

I for one can't wait to see the IRNV and tact light toned down.

if mines stay after you die, then so should grenades and RPGs. ive shot an rpg at a tank that would have been done for, but i died and the tank never died. thats just retarded.

"Fixed so AT mines only live for 20 seconds after a player dies to prevent infinite mines. (We want to make a different fix in the future, it’s in JIRA)."

i hope mines stay forever once you die, otherwise they will become quite useless...

If it takes you an entire day to download 2GB (LOL) that's probably why you are getting "No packet flow" problems.

Or perhaps it's at least related.

Ps; I'm pretty sure the average is at least 3 megabit download speed, probably more around 7-10 megabit. Plus tons of people have 20megabit, 30megabit, 50megabit, and in some countries 70-100megabit is average.

You running on dial-up or what? biggrin.gif A 20 megabit connection will download that in 13 minutes.

Even an incredibly slow 2 megabit connection will do it in 2.27 hours.

I have no problem with latency, BF3 worked perfectly with sub-100ms until the first patch. Every single game I own still works with my new router except BF3 frown.gif And I don't even have 2Mb, I have 1.5, and it fluctuates between that and a fourth of it in relation to demand. The only internet I can get at my house is a very small company that throttles usage whenever they want. Sometimes I get 300Kb/s, sometimes I get disconnected for hours. It's a spotty situation tongue.gif

Pretty sure I have some of the slowest non dial-up on OCN.

I dunno, I found plenty of cooperation in team chat in the CoD days even on xbox which is usually a disarray of people running and gunning. To each his own. but I know how to (I just got the game 2 days back) join a squad and use squad chat, but text is really a pain. I don't know a lot of pc gamers, I did join one of OCNs many platoons and did add a few people, but my friends all play xbox and I dunno many people on ocn that well or everyone is in different times zones to play the same matches. I guess I was looking for a bit more "fun" experience and slightly more casual with more people speaking. aside from the 12 year olds in MW2, that had some very colorful and fun conversations during TDM. thats all, was wondering if there was voice in game to talk to people aside from adding each individually then starting a party and then chatting there, which is a bit cumbersome. oh well, can't have it all I guess, but still a fantastic game, though everyone's like 20 levels above me, trying to even do a 1:1 KD is hard.
