First of all, we are talking about weapons being overpowered, not the scope. If people feel the IRNV should not be a part of the game, I don't blame them. It's sort of strange to play a game like this and then shoot at lights. Like I mentioned before, I have no issue with it or without it. I'll be fine. Of course in the mean time if it's a legit part of the game and it gives me an advantage, I will certainly use it. The only reason I wouldn't is if I played games that outlawed their use then I would practice without it. BTW...as I mentioned, I played without it for the first 3 weeks. My game has picked up some since using it (stat wise), but for most of the time I pick out players before I scope so it's not that big of a deal. The only time it really comes in handy is at choke points when I know a guy is around a corner waiting to pop out for a shot, and there are tons of environmental things flying around. That is where it gives a huge advantage.

As for specific guns being OP, that is a non stop issue. Either they need to make every gun exactly the same or you are always going to have people complain. Honestly, I think the weapons in this game are pretty well balanced. I can think of 3 in each class that has certain advantages. Yet most people will always pick the best TTK. That is why the 240B and PKP are used for Support the most (they swap TTK at about 40m), AEK and F2000 for assault (I actually think the AEK will be used a lot more when they fix the stat page), and the M4 and A91 for Engineer (was the SCAR pre nerf, and many people still use it). Yet I admit I like some of the other weapons and don't feel overmatched using them at all. The M60 is very accurate with lower recoil (some people love the M249, I don't get it but to each their own). The M416 and M16 weapons have fantastic horizontal recoil, so I do use them. The only area I don't stray much is Engineer. Pre nerf, the SCAR. Post nerf, the A91 (although I may start using the M4 some more).

I really don't see much reason to touch any of the guns other than maybe buffing a few to make them more viable. Thankfully they are buffing the AN-94. I just hope they don't go crazy like they did in BFBC2 (which also was a buff from a patch).

I no longer touch engineer on Bazaar,Seine, Damavand, or Metro (I pretty much refuse to play that meat grinder though). Honestly, when I play assault, RPG spam doesn't bother me. I can normally kill them as they try to fire one off. I might get damaged, but then I just heal up and kill the next engineer. I also just revive anyone who dies from RPG spam (easy to revive since I know they are wasting time reloading and I don't need to worry about getting shot). It's a weak tactic overall, and a squad of support and assault will wipe the floor with RPG spamming engineers.

For the most part I only play engineer on vehicle heavy maps, and even then I will play support at times since they can at least use C4.

I picked up a weapon from a dead guy that had it equipped, and had a moment of realization. "This is how those guys see me when I could not see them." I have used it since. It amazes me how many people refuse to use something that is an advantage. Why not just use a knife all game? That will prove you are really hard core. Guns are for sissies.
The way it is now, I will use it. Change it to where it's no longer effective, and I will change to another scope. No big deal.
Although there is one thing that was nice about the IRNV. It eliminated the people that lay down in bushes all game just waiting for people to run by in order to get a kill. I don't care about them when they are on the other team. They are ineffective for the most part. They may get a few kills, but they are not capping points or taking objectives. In Conquest the ticket bleed caused by their play takes care of any kills they may get, and in Rush that tactic is not really effective against a good Rush attacker since they may get a kill but a good Rush team will attack in groups so the rest of the group will take care of him (waiting for kills as an attacker is useless since defenders just respawn and don't have to worry about tickets). So the use of IRNV has stopped my teammates from hiding in some corner or bush all game. Now those tactics I saw in beta will return big time since no one will be able to see those people anymore.

All valid points but you get tired of being killed as soon as you spawn and you have no idea how or where they shot you from, and then you see the IRNV scope on the weapon they killed you with. In my opinion(Me being very competitive) I've tried a IRNV to see what to hype is, and I felt like it was just to unfair to use especially in hardcore. I've also played on servers where most of the other team was using irnv scopes and doing serious base raping with LMG's from plant points on Rush. It's multiple experiences like this that have made me have such a huge hate for that scope.

So dumb they nerfed helicopters. Those things already died fast. Flares was a bad move too. Helicopters are useless now. 3 lock ons...instant dead. And i forgot to mention jets and anti air. mobile aa was already paper.
