Key patch items:

Added a network interpolation setting. This allows users with good bandwidth reduce latency, but might increase some stuttering. The user can find what works best for his connection by tweaking the slider.
(Interested in playing with this)

Fixed several crashes and increased general stability
(Important as always)

Fixed a problem where you could get green flashes on screen
(About time)

Fixed several weapons so they are properly suppressed and hide the player on the minimap when fired.
(Yes, now I can use more than a couple weapons)

Tweaked Tactical Light so it is not as blinding over longer ranges.
(Well DUH)

Tweaked the IRNV scope so it is limited to usage only at close range.
(My favorite. Gypsies, give me your tears)

Fixed so AT mines only live for 20 seconds after a player dies to prevent infinite mines.
(Very good, you don't need 5000 mines all over the battlefield)

Reduced the damage done to Armored Vehicles and Infantry from AA guns.
(This really sucks)

Increased the damage RPGs and Tank shells do to AA vehicles.
(WTH, they were already like paper)

Slightly decreased the accuracy for all weapons on fully automatic, burst fire is now preferable at mid to long range.
(REALLY good change)

Increased the reload time of the Mortar from 3.5sec to 4.8sec and increased the time it takes before a shell hits the ground.
(Excellent, curb mortar noobs)

Increased the power of Stingers against Jets.
(Great)

Flares reload times for Jets and Helicopter Gunners have been increased.

Huh? This wasn't true at all, a second lock and missile launch was way faster than flare reload, particularly at closer ranges.

There are aircraft perks that dramatically increase the lock time when activated. Perhaps those people were using that.

Either way, I never thought the flare reload time was too fast.

2Gb... Ugh... Will take most of the day to download. And I didn't pre-order tongue.gif I'll be happy if this fixes the "No Packet Flow" that's absolutely driving me up the wall (which nobody has bothered to explain).

No, That's terrible. That will make the mines little bit useless. 20 seconds is too short and staying alive is not easy if you're capping points and taking down tanks. DICE should put a limit how much mines can be placed in the map. Mines get destroyed all the time and why they are worried about "unlimited" mines?

Fixed so AT mines only live for 20 seconds after a player dies to prevent infinite mines. (We want to make a different fix in the future, it’s in JIRA).

so basically, the aa tanks cant leave the uncamp since they will be shredded by rpgs and armored vehicles. at least before you had a CHANCE, if you were really good at aa.
