thanks to Frank, my PC is finally up and running. Needless to say thqt I owe him big time
He even RMAd the CPU for me ....
So here goes the pictures and the problems that we've had in more details.
Like stated above, I have been plagued with BSOD with this build. After trouble shooting for weeks, re installing windows at least 20 times, RMAd the MB (RIVE) just to get another one that was DOA, buying an assassin2 to troubleshoot again just to find out that the CPU was faulty
This really was quite an adventure but, through this, I had the chance and honor to meet an amazing person, Frank, who invited me into his home and helped me a lot, no questions asked. And he became a friend that makes me spend way too much cash on new hardware lol (that's right, it's all your fault as far as my wife knows
So as promised, some pictures.
The rampage IV Extreme with the koolance MB block and the EK HF Supreme installed
The GTX580 and their ek waterblocks and those shiny back plates lol
The motherboard with the graphic cards installed. Man those blocks are heavy
The M8 with the first hardware installed. On the left, the aquaero, the 3 powereadjusts, the multiswitch and a FC5 for the fans and pumps. At the bottom the HDDs are installed and on the right you can see the platimax
The back of the aquacomputer devices, all cables are MDPC-X sleeved but, OMG what a mess lol
And all the PSU cables sleeved
My reservoir and the two swiftech pumps
My loop on the MB side
The tube getting into the last block (aquaero) with the flow meter. So many cables ....
The graphic cards are connected to the PSU
I couldn't fit all the cables through one hole. I had to use both of them. And as you can see, I planned to sleeve all the cables but I couldn't do it with the cases' cables, darn connector wouldn't get off
Here it is, finished and running. It has really been nightmarish to finish this build. I couldn't have done it without the help of Frank (thx again man
