Is it wort overclocking my twin frozr II more?

Thread Starter
voltage - 1v
core clock - 1000
shader clock - 2000
memory clock - 2100

Sitting at 66C at full load on furmark. Thoughts??

Side note- Added two new thermaltake fans (70cfm) and it dropped my temps a solid 6--7C! biggrin.gif

your temps, voltages, and clocks are all amazing.
please do push further =D
youve got a gem

Absolutely. Decide what max temp you feel comfortable hitting, and overclock accordingly. TF was made to be pushed wink.gif especially with the clocks you've already achieved. See how much more she has. I personally set 75 as my upper limit on TF3 6950.

Alright I've arrived at

voltage - 1v
core clock - 1100
shader clock - 2200
memory clock - 2150

67C...does this even seem possible???

I tried going from core/shader to 1200/2200 and it crashed, does it need more voltage?

Did you click "apply" on afterburner? just a thought.
1100 on 1v doesn't seem possible.

I figured it out, I'm a noob yet so excuse me! tongue.gif. it apparently doesn't apply if my driver crashes....which it has been doing. So everytime i get to 1000mhz it crashes...does that mean its no stable?

dont use furmark to benchmark it. use heaven benchmark. It will tell you instantly whether you are unstable or not.

My gtx 460 wast stable at 990mhz on furmark. but cant reach anything higher than 860mhz in heaven benchmark
