Well,
We have a big update!

The Motherboard is here, and much smaller than i originally thought.. biggrin.gif
IMG_1635.jpg
Here's a view with it inside the PlayStation, just as a size comparison..
its surprising how close the actual motherboard is to the size of the board that was originally in the PlayStation!
IMG_1636.jpg
But hold on, whats this?!
IMG_1640.jpg
Yup. the Dremel came!
IMG_1643.jpg
Anyway, i got to grips with it and went to my tool bench and removed all of the plastic bits and bobs that were holding the old boards in, and it came out like this..
IMG_1644.jpg
Not a perfect job, but its fairly smooth.

Here's the motherboard in it after removing all the stuff inside, i think i want it to sit like this..
IMG_1646.jpg
Something else came today, the PS1 to USB adaptor, so all i have to do now is work out how to remove its plastic casing!
I sense the dremel may have something to do with it, i think ill wait until later and wake everyone up in the house wink.gif
IMG_1637.jpg
Anyway, im not too sure what will appear next in the wonderful british royal mail (sarcasm). God the're rubbish! D:
