On, Off, On, Off, and finall On...? P8P67 deluxe rev3.0 Asus

Thread Starter
So, my computer makes a large creak, then turns on, off, on, off and finally on. Afterwards, there is no real problem, but it seems a bit strange. I also have the AA LED warning on the mobo at all times. Honestly, its just a bit strange, but I assume there could be longer lasting problems if not addressed. If there is a solution or any guesses, I'd appreciate it.

Not totally sure, but maybe a bios update may fix it. I doubt it would cause any lasting problems.

A few settings in the bios can make a difference :

- "AA" Q-code = "All Allright" you must have it thumb.gif

- Bios advanced settings:

+ Boot tab : Option ROM messages , set "Keep Current"

+ Advanced tab : Onboard Devices Configuration: dissable all devices which aren't necessary, like Blue Tooth Controller, Marvell Storage Controller, JMB Storage Controller, Realtek LAN controller,

+ Advanced tab : APM : enable "Power on by PCIE"
