So, I just dropped major $ on my first water-cooling setup that is not sponsored or for a customer/friend of mine. Its a VERY sobering experience, but its very fun thinking about what I will be doing with it.

What you guys think?

1 x EK-FB GA 990FXA UD7 - for Gigabyte AMD Motherboards - Acetal+EN (Nickel) - (2 fittings)
  - Fitting Size: 1/2" Barb for 1/2" ID tube
1 x EK-Supreme HF High Flow - CPU Water Block "Easy Mount" - Copper/Acetal
  - Fitting Size: 1/2" Barb for 1/2" ID tube
2 x Bitspower G 1/4" Matte Black Rotary 45 Degree 1/2" Barb Fiting
14 x Bitspower Premium G1/4" High Flow 1/2" Fitting - Black Matte Finish
20 x Tygon 3603 1/2" ID (3/4" OD) Clear Tubing
20 x Primochill Metal Resuable Hose Clamp [19mm, 3/4" OD] - Black
2 x Laing DDC-pump 12V DDC-1T Plus
1 x *** HOT *** XSPC Premium Laing Dual DDC Clear Acrylic Top
2 x XSPC RX360 Extreme Performance Radiator
  - Nozzles: No Nozzles
1 x EK-BAY SPIN Reservoir - Acetal
  - Fitting Size: No Fittings
2 x Bitspower Premium PLUS Black Diamond Series G1/4" Stop Fitting with O-ring
1 x Bitspower Premium G3/8" Black Sparkle High Flow 1/2" Fitting
1 x IandH Silver KillCoils - Antimicrobial .999 Fine Silver Tubing / Reservoir Strip

This is just for the CPU/Mobo so far, not including RAM/Videocards yet.

I've heard all tygon clear tubing clouds pretty bad. Everything else is top notch stuff. Check this post:

Thanks for the info. I totally forgot about this issue. Just e-mailed the sellers sales dept and told them to switch it over to PFLEXP-34 (PrimoFlex Pro LRT Clear Tubing -1/2in. ID X 3/4in. OD). I really didnt tell them, just asked very nicely. Should come out to around 27 FT instead of 20 FT now too! Better quality and more of it = me being happy thumb.gif

Do some googling on the nickel + silver kill coil, there's been some talk that the silver and nickel in the same loop causing corrosion... There a thread in here about koolance blocks having the issue and it's brought up in there. I'm no expert, but that talk is fresh in my memory.

Yep, I have seen it as well. Going to be using a nice anti-corrosion additive for that.

Good idea, like I said I am no expert but I know there have been recent active discussions on the subject. What anti-corrosive additive are you planning on?

Looking forward to hearing about your build!

I agree. The AMD chips are just not doing it for me right now either.

However, Intel chips overclock so well on air that it doesn't really make sense to go for water unless you are benching.
