Just a few quick questions about watercooling!

Alright so setting up my first loop with the rs240
Do i need to take the cpu mounting bracket off to put the rasa cpu block in?
I tried putting the backplate that comes with the kit on but the cpu mounting block is in the way of the scres fitting in the holes
here are some pics

the silver part behind the black mounting block is whats preventing me from putting it in
not sure whats going on

So am i supposed to take off this bracket then install the kit?

Does the black bracket have a foam or rubber spacer? if so remove it, its ok if metal touches the rear socket plate.

nah it just has a plastic film and its sticky underneath, obviously to just stick on there. but im not sure if the screws have to be able to fit in the holes or not
