By your logic the only people justified to give any opinions are those that own and use both Sandy Bridge and Bulldozer. If you are "satisfied" with Bulldozer do you discount the possibility of having your expectations exceeded by a Sandy Bridge product?
You preach a farsighted hope but embrace a myopic mindset.
You guys are acting like I said Intel is garbage. When did I say anything about the. BD is a good chip. SB is a good chip. I never said anything about BD outperforming SB.
Intel is on top.
AMD is not out of the game.
Just because their stock is going down doesn't mean they are gong under. Who stock isn't going down these day?
You can talk all day about how much better your SB is better than BD cause at the moment it is and may always be but by the end of next year, AMD will be in a good position.
In the last few months AMD has done nothing but say their plans for the future. Fusion, Bulldozer, Piledriver, Radeon, Xbox, RAM, and so on. They're not only surviving, they are thriving.
Even though AMD is definitely the underdog in the desktop market doesn't mean they are going to stop selling desktops or stop competing to have the best. AMD is not going anywhere.
You can think all you want. AMD will continue to release new upgraded desktop cpu's along with everything else.
I am not a fanboy. I like AMD just as much as like intel. They are both good companies and both are holding their own.
