Temp will rise when you raise the fsb and/or multiplier or whatever. Voltage change affects your temperature even more.

This problem has already been resolved... I think. Did you reinstall win7 rututu? I sure hope so, because you should definitely do that before any overclocking.

Well, if to be honest...not yet biggrin.gif But I won't overclock now, I'll re-install it first, for sure, thanks. And I think the last question will be)) -
Will the power consumption get much higher if I'll jump from 266mhz to 333mhz? (remind - PSU 500watt + Radeon HD 6850)

Ok. Just remember to format/reinstall asap smile.gif
Power consumption does increase when OCing... but not so much that you would need a better psu biggrin.gif
See this interesting link.
Edit. Fixed the link

Ok thumb.gif
It's just when I was buying this videocard everyone I talked to told that psu maybe will be too weak for that, that's why I didn't get HD 6870 in first place biggrin.gif And when I wanted to get this CPU I thought it's a death sentence for it biggrin.gif That's why I'm so afraid to go for 333mhz fsb ;D But you are sure it's ok?)
Thanks for the link smile.gif

Well if it doesn't supply enough power things will just shut down... shouldn't be dangerous smile.gif
And after overclocking remember to run prime95 for some time to check stability and temps.

Edit. also... try this: extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

Don't know about the c1e... what does it even do? Something about the voltage? And why would you want to disable speedstep? Oh... and to fill in your rig details click the "rig builder" link in the top right corner on top of your username and the log off button.

The thing is that C1E is like the same as Speedstep, as I think I read...But why are they both in BIOS then?!.. Man, I turned it off cause it was the main problem why I couldn't use my CPU, which why I created this thread, did you read the whole thing? biggrin.gif
