Yep that's it lol. Grab the cheapest for the drive on it's own as you can get software to migrate if needed for free unless you need a SATA cable or 2.5"-3.5" adapter. smile.gif

Does that also apply to all of them? I see that with a lot of them. I see some them too just make them thinner. For instance, instead of 9.xx mm its now 7mm.

Yea that is basically it when there are multiples of the same drive at different prices. The M4 has the 9.5mm and 7mm versions like you said too.

I have a slight problem with the included SATA cable, the cable says SATA III 6Gbps but the connector says SATA 3.0? Since it's made in China do you think they meant SATA III rather than SATA 3.0? It's a nice quality cable really, especially if your sleeving it red.

There is no such thing as SATA Rev 3.x certified cables, so it doesn't matter.

SATA 6Gb/s = SATA 3.0 = SATA III

All SATA cables give the same throughput SATA, SATA 2, and SATA 3 are the same.

Talking of deals .. I grabbed a Kingston SSDNow V+200 128GB for £55 yesterday .. pretty good price here in the UK!

http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/SVP200S37A_us.pdf

I'm thinking I might use that in my main PC and move the Crucial M4 120GB to another PC for some Windows 8 goodness ..
